IAP Board of Delegates

The Board of Delegates are members elected by local chapters, and delegated to serve the IAP Board of Delegates for a period of no less than two years.

THE FUNCTION OF THE BOARD OF DELEGATES SHALL BE TO:

• Amend the Association bylaws
• Adopt official Association Code of Ethics, Definitions, Standards, and position papers developed in cooperation with the Board, Committees or Task forces of the Association
• Hear reports from Association officers and local chapter leadership
• Advise or recommend action to the Board of Directors by means of Delegates Resolutions
• Represent their constituents and communicate to them relevant Association information and actions
• Provide leadership and participate as members in Association committees and taskforces
• Adopt Rules for Board of Delegates procedure
• Nominate and elect the officers of the Board of Delegate
